TRAVEL NICARAGUA |

Day 1: |
 |
Land transportation on an A/C minibus from your hotel at La Fortuna or its surroundings. Leave for Granada, the colonial capital of Nicaragua by crossing the border at Peñas Blancas post.
During the afternoon, we will make a journey back in time by visiting the city’s main colonial attractions such as: the amazing beauty of the public buildings’ architecture, majestic churches, and old colonial houses.

Day 2: |

This day we will travel through the white towns.
We will start our trip by visiting the town of Masaya, well known as Nicaragua’s artisans’ town and folkloric heritage. Will visit its colorful market with hundred of kiosks filled with beautiful hand-made arts and crafts as well as the picturesque Indian neighborhood called Monimbo. |
Then, continue on our trip to a lookout at La Laguna de Apoyo (Fresh water reservoir) where you will have a delicious typical lunch. Later on the day, our next destination will be Masaya Volcano National Park and its museum. Here you will experience a real life thrill while standing next to the immense crater. Masaya Volcano is considered to have one of the world’s most spectacular smoking crater. A short walk through a series of steps leads to the upper part of the volcano where you can enjoy the impressive panoramic views of the surroundings. |

Day 3: |
|
Enjoy this day by taking a trip on small boats through the waterways among Granada’s isles located in Lake Nicaragua. These isles constitute a beautiful archipelago formed by Momotombo Volcano’s past eruptions. Here you will have a delicious lunch.
Later after the meal, we will ready to depart for Costa Rica or depending on |
your choice, you may stay in Nicaragua and take side tours to the sunny beaches of Nicaragua ´s Pacific coast (such as San Juan del Sur and Montelimar). |
