 SAFARI ADVENTURE FLOAT PEÑAS BLANCAS RIVER |

This excursion will allow you to navigate Peñas Blancas River, accompanied only by the sounds of nature. Upon setting you up into contact with nature without disturbing it, you will able to admire a great diversity of flora and fauna.
We will take a 20 minute-bus ride to Peñas Blancas River to initiate our river journey. During 2 hours we will be kayaking along the river. |

While paddling along the river, you might see and spot a great diversity of birds as well as mammals such as sloths, monkeys, reptiles and amphibians such as crocodiles, iguanas, colorful frogs, and snakes among others. While enjoying the exuberant vegetation in the surrounding area, our tour guide will periodically provide you with information on the details of flora and fauna mostly found here. |

Then we will make a short stop on a tropical rain forest farm to savor a delicious snack. After the meal, you will commence hiking into a rain forest to discover the richness of Fortuna area’s nature along the Peñas Blancas River. During hiking through the forest, it is possible to encounter the exotic frog called red and blue poison-dart frog (Dendrobates Punilio). |
Later on, we will continue our journey by navigating back onto the river to reach a certain point on the riverbank where an A/C minibus will be waiting for you to take you back to Fortuna. A scenic drive past the San Carlos countryside will drive you to your hotel. |
