Canyoneering or rappelling

This exciting day of your vacation starts when we pass by your hotel to take you to a private reserve. There we will go 15 minutes into the forest by way of a 4x4 vehicle. There you will receive a safety chat and training from certified guides who will show on a small waterfall how you will be repelling down the various waterfalls to come. Then you will head off through the forest to descend waterfalls ranging from 150 to 200 feet in height. You’ll also hike through the forest enjoying nature as you go.

Class II & III Rafting on the Balsa River

After your canyoneering excursion we will transport you—accompanied as always by guides—to the Balsa River where you can raft down the Class II & III rapids of the river.

Only 45 minutes away and inside an unforgettable section of natural beauty you will experience the excitement of descending the rapids down the river. Also enjoy seasonal fruits during a break halfway through the tour.

Delicious Typical Costa Rican Lunch

After all that excitement a delicious lunch awaits! You’ll eat the most popular Costa Rican food known as a “Casado”—a plate made up of rice, beans, meat, salad or vegetables, and more.

Baldí Hot Springs Day Pass

After your rafting adventure and lunch we will take you to relax at the Baldí Hot Springs; there you’ll find 25 pools of varying temperatures, a natural sauna, three waterslides, and more.

Open until 10:00 pm you can end an exciting day with some relaxation.
