This is a day to enjoy adventure and nature in this beautiful corner of Costa Rica. We invite you to enjoy this vacation excursion that begins at 7:00 am (exact time may vary depending on the distance of your hotel from La Fortuna).

The first attraction we’ll visit is the well-known and much visited La Fortuna Waterfall with its 70 meter fall of water. We begin by driving to the trailhead for the hike down to see the spectacular waterfall where you can enjoy its crystal clear water.

After the hike you’ll get the unique experience of flying through the tree tops as you enjoy the flora and fauna that are characteristic of the Arenal area. The tour involves seven zipline cables with lengths from 150 meters to the longest of 960 meters (half a mile) that soars out over the La Fortuna Waterfall. You’ll also be able to see the Pino Blanco Waterfall.

Next up is a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch. 

Around 2:00 pm we begin our visit to Arenal Volcano National Park to visit the main draw to the area—the volcano. We’ll hike to the lava flows from past eruptions and hike over the rocks.

The tour through the park will allow for unique experiences to get to see different animals and plants that find refuge in the forest. Our expert naturalist guide will help you to learn about them on your hike, as well as help you learn about the history of the area and the various ecosystems in the National Park. This guided hike lasts about two hours.

In the last part of your tour you get to choose where to enjoy the relaxing hot water of the natural Hot Springs that emanate from Arenal; the end to a perfect day of adventure and nature. A dinner buffet is included at the Hot Springs of your choice.
