After picking you up directly from your hotel in San José, we’ll head toward Arenal, making a stop along the way in the iconic town of Sarchí. Known as the cradle of Costa Rican artisans, Sarchí is the perfect place to browse for handmade souvenirs, including woodcrafts and colorful trinkets. Don’t miss the chance to snap a photo with the world’s largest ox cart, a record-holding piece of folk art made from cedar wood and painted in vibrant traditional colors. As we continue our journey, you'll pass through scenic landscapes filled with forests, coffee plantations, pineapple fields, ornamental plant farms, and cattle ranches. This route offers a fascinating look at the variety of microclimates that make Costa Rica so unique. Upon arriving in La Fortuna, we’ll stop for a delicious Costa Rican lunch with breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano.
