Day 1—Airport Arrival and Pickup

- A representative of Arenal Evergreen will be waiting for you upon your arrival at the airport to take you to your hotel in San José. You will receive your itinerary and detailed information to make sure you enjoy the next few days in the country.

Day 2—Tortuguero National Park

- Early in the morning—around 6:00 am—we start the trip to the Caribbean; specifically to Tortuguero, one of the most biodiverse regions of Costa Rica.

- You will have a delicious breakfast on the way; afterwards your will travel by boat allowing you to enjoy the extensive variety of flora and fauna on your way to your hotel in Tortuguero. After lunch we will coordinate the afternoon visit of the town of Tortuguero and its museum.

- Dinner is included at the restaurant on-site at the hotel.

- Lodging in your selected hotel.

Day 3—Travel to Arenal Volcano

- Breakfast

- Travel by canals through mangroves to see the impressive and unique beauty of the region.

- We start the transport to one of the preferred tourist destinations for visitors to Costa Rica—the beautiful Arenal Volcano area. Always green and with spectacular views of the colossal Arenal you’ll quickly see why it’s a favorite destination.

- Lunch on your way.

- Around 4:00 pm arrival to your hotel.

- Dinner.

- Lodging in your selected hotel. 

Day 6—Transportation to Monteverde by way of Lake Arenal

- Breakfast

- Transportation to the Monteverde Cloud Forest by way of the most picturesque route: crossing Lake Arenal.

- Pick between a Canopy Tour (ziplining) or a night time hike

- Lodging in your selected hotel

Day 7—Activity in Monteverde and transportation to San José

- Breakfast

- Hike the hanging bridges in the tree tops of the Monteverde Cloud Forest reserve.

2:00 pm transportation to a hotel nearby to Juan Santamaría (San José) International Airport.

Day 8—Transportation to the Airport

- Breakfast

- We will take you to the airport according to the time of your departure flight.
